20 Passenger Ship Hijacked by Pirates
With the most recent hijacking of a ship en route to the Tanzanian port city of Dar es Salaam with 29 people on board, it stands to reason that its not gonna get any better anytime soon. Pirates from Somalia usually seize ships in the Gulf of Aden, one of the world’s busiest waterways, but patrols by an international flotilla has only caused them to move their operations farther south.

The January 17-21 training course, provided by the Executive Protection Institute on International Protective Operations on a Caribbean Cruise, looks to provide training in a niche market. While it doesn’t necessarily cover a tactical approach to a pirate invasion – it will most definitely be a good investment for the bodyguard looking to expand his/her arsenal to more well-rounded capabilities.
Plus, its set on an actual cruise – so, you get a kind-sorta mini vacation out of the deal as well.
